Chris Hasiński is a Rubyist and machine learning engineer who’s been quietly pushing Ruby into the modern AI era. He’s the creator of clip-rb, a Ruby wrapper around OpenAI’s CLIP model that makes it possible to build image–text search and recommendation systems directly in Ruby. Chris speaks regularly at Ruby conferences and meetups about local inference, ONNX, and practical ways to run ML models from Ruby without giving up performance or ergonomics.
